Double H Acres is a family-run operation that began in 1978 serving the local breeders and cattle feeders of southern New England. Located just north of Hartford, Connecticut, Double H Acres continues to accommodate the needs of today's cattle farmer by providing some of the best Hereford genetics available nationwide.
Double H Acres is committed to developing and promoting the Hereford breed by investing in cattle that are structurally sound and high performing. Its imperative that cattle in northern climates have the ability to maximize roughages and produce heavy weaning calves. The progeny offered at our farm exhibit excellent mothering ability and high carcass yields. Come to the farm anytime for a tour or to see our line of show heifers and steers available for sale.

Today, Double H Acres is launching our own line of frozen beef products. Taking our 30 years of cattle raising experience straight to new consumers. Product will be available Spring 2010
